Footprints, a state licensed educational facility, providing preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and day care, opened its doors in 1998 with 13 children. Over the years hundreds of children have benefited from our Montessori environment. Children ages 2-6 are enriched with areas like practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, science, and social studies.
All staff members have been carefully chosen to provide a loving, safe environment. With the right amount of love, nurture, and discipline, children have the freedom to work and learn. They are all CPR certified.
Mrs. Bjorg Boschen, M.A.C.T.E. certified through Jothi Montessori Academy, has been teaching in the Montessori environment since 1992.
Footprints is located in the front of St. Thomas Episcopal Church's property, but is not church affiliated.

A close parent-teacher-student communication relationship is encouraged. Footprints has an open door policy which allows free access for parents to observe their children's activities.
We feel the most important aspect of our program is the excitement about learning we develop in children. We help build confidence in each child's individual abilities, and create the natural desire to learn more. Our children cannot wait to show their parents what they are doing!
